Lucknow, June 19 :\u00a0 : Addressing educators from Egypt, Japan, Nepal, and various states across India on the second day of the International Roundtable Conference \u201cEd Leadership-2026\u201d, being held at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium, renowned educationist and Founder-Director of City Montessori School,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Dr. Bharti Gandhi, stated that education is a means of bringing forth the knowledge that already exists within a child. She emphasized that teachers have the vital responsibility of identifying and nurturing each child\u2019s unique talents, helping them grow into great human beings and inspiring them to make constructive contributions toward the upliftment of humanity and the creation of a better world.
\nEarlier, the second day of Ed Leadership-2026 commenced with a ceremonial lamp-lighting. Welcoming the distinguished educators from India and abroad, Conference Convener Dr. Sunita Gandhi remarked that children possess limitless potential. Therefore, it is essential to recognize their natural talents and encourage them to make the fullest use of their abilities. It may be noted that Ed Leadership-2026 is being organized by the Global Education and Training Institute (GETI) from 18 to 20 June at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium, bringing together more than 2,000 educators, principals, and teachers from different countries on a common international platform to deliberate, reflect, and explore new dimensions in education. The conference is based on the theme \u201cGrowing the Inner Life in the Age of AI.\u201d
\nThe second day of Ed Leadership-2026 was particularly engaging, showcasing a variety of child-centred educational strategies. Demonstrations were presented on developing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) through the Alpha Technique. Innovative approaches such as peer learning, paired learning, buddy systems, questioning each other, hands-on methods for learning counting and basic numeracy, and the use of puppets in learning were also demonstrated.<\/p>\n

Students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus showcased their foundational literacy and numeracy skills acquired through the Alpha methodology and captivated parents and guests by answering questions with remarkable speed and accuracy. Their mastery of numerical concepts and command over language proved to be a truly inspiring experience for the audience.<\/p>\n

Panel discussions on a range of contemporary educational issues continued throughout the day, exploring new perspectives and dimensions in the field of education. The first panel discussion, titled \u201cEvidence Over Assumption: Making Learning Visible,\u201d featured insightful contributions from Ms. Yashuko Higashijono, Mr. Shiju Augustine, Ms. Soma Chandra, Ms. Prerna Mitra, Ms. Archana Pandey, and Ms. Mala Mehra.\u201c\u201cAnother panel discussion on \u201cThe Human Age: Will AI Replace Teachers or Redefine Their Role?\u201d brought together Ms. Priya Chhatrawal, Ms. Priya Dwivedi, Ms. Samvida Adhikari, Ms. Nupur Dawra, and Ms. Priyanka Agrawal, who engaged in a thoughtful exchange of ideas on the evolving role of teachers in the age of artificial intelligence. During the evening session, distinguished educators from India and abroad were honoured with the prestigious \u201cDr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan National Award\u201d amidst enthusiastic applause. The series of meaningful discussions and deliberations by eminent educators participating in this international conference will continue tomorrow on 20th June.<\/p>\n
