Lucknow, August 6, : : Reinforcing its commitment to industry-oriented education and enhancing student employability, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL Technologies, Lucknow, during a formal ceremony held at the University campus today.
The strategic partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by creating opportunities for internships, industry projects, technical training, professional certifications, collaborative research and placement support. Through this initiative, students will gain practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry practices, preparing them for successful careers in the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow Campus, said that the collaboration reflects the University’s continuous efforts to provide industry-relevant education and equip students with the knowledge, skills and professional competencies required in the modern workplace.
Senior representatives from HCL Technologies included Mr. Prasath Panneerselvam, Director & Head – Campus Relations, Mr. Rishi Kumar, Senior Vice President & Centre Head, and Mr. Samar Bhalla, Deputy Manager – Talent Acquisition.
Representing Amity University were Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor, Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Ms. Archana Dhir, Director – Corporate Resource Centre, faculty members from the engineering domain, senior officials from the Placement Department, and students of the B.Tech 2027 batch.
As part of the collaboration, both organizations will jointly conduct workshops, seminars, hackathons, faculty development programmes and research initiatives. The partnership will primarily focus on emerging technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity and Software Development, enabling students to acquire future-ready technical competencies.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and a shared commitment from both institutions to promote innovation, employability and excellence in higher education through sustained industry engagement.
